earning a degreeAs an affiliate campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California, we welcome students to study with us and to transfer their earned credits toward a degree at the main campus. Earned credits are transferable among other worldwide CCBC affiliate campuses and certain accredited colleges and universities.
Starting your studies with a semester here at CCBC Japan automatically gives you the opportunity to continue with your schooling at the main campus. |
Degree concentration
Degree concentrations are designed for students to apply biblical insight to strengthen their relationship with God and learn practice of a specific ministry area. Students enrolled in a concentration take topical and Bible courses related to the ministry topic for a total of 12 credits. Like the main campus, we currently offer classes that count towards the five degree concentrations that CCBC teaches:
General Leadership, Apologetics, Missions & Evangelism, Worship Arts, and Discipleship.
AFTER YOU GRADUATE
transferring from ccbc japanStudents have had many opportunities to build on their biblical education and pursue further study beyond CCBC at accredited Christian colleges and seminaries in the United States.
Although CCBC is not accredited, many accredited colleges and seminaries have accepted our credits in transfer toward their degree programs. Japanese and foreign locals will also receive an official certificate of completion which many Japanese ministries and churches have received as positive reference or towards a Japanese Missionary Visa. are you a graduating student?If you are in your graduating semester of Bible College, we will work with you to complete your credits and to meet your graduation requirements.

Courses
All classes offered are in accordance with the main campus’ accredited Biblical Studies program (72 Credits). Every semester we offer a full 20 credit curriculum. Among the core classes, we also offer the following classes:
Evangelism, Missions, History of Redemption, Apologetics, OT + NT Bible Electives, Children’s Ministry, Hebrews, Theology, Pastoral Epistles

CCBC Japan offers courses in English and Japanese. Some are translated side by side while other courses are taught in one language only. Many students enjoy our bilingual courses, and some have even trained their understanding of the other language to the point of proficiency within the two years of study at CCBC Japan.
All students who first come to study with us from overseas are required to take a Japanese class that teaches basic language skills, understanding of the culture and ministry in Japan. Students take what they learn to practice within our Japanese and International congregation at Calvary Chapel Ginowan.

MISSIONS TRIP TO SOUTH KOREAEvery semester, all Bible College students attending CCBC Japan from overseas take a five day missions trip to South Korea. We partner with a Calvary Chapel in Daejeon, South Korea.
In the past, students have done outreaches at universities, care homes, and also street witnessing and worship events. In addition, students go sightseeing and learn about Korean culture and history, and get to try authentic Korean food at local restaurants. |
